This past weekend I installed a JMB CAI on my 06 RC. Today while sitting in traffic I checked my gas mileage via the on board overhead message center. I noticed my mileage jumped from 9.5 mpg to 11.6 mpg. Anybody else experience similar mpg gains with the addition of a CAI?

My mpg went down because I liked the sound.:D

CAI really don't add power or mpg. They do add bling.

if you watch that thingie you will get better milage ,,if you dont watch it youll find you milage really wont change ,,,its just a bling thing:itsme:

Haven't looked at mine yet, didn't and won't consider MPG a factor ever. Thats why you keep a dd Beater..

i get anywhere from 18-21mpg out of my truck... doing about 68mph anything over it sucks and anything under boggs it down to much

16.1 mpg at 80mph last road trip I took. I'm averaging 13.2 mpg over the last ~2300 miles. I didn't own the truck when it was stock, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I like the sound too -- more of a deeper growl to it. And I didn't expect any power increases but what surprised me was the jump in mpg. I NEVER, around here, ever get 11 plus mpg. I'm lucky to score 10 mpg and that's with decent traffic, which doesn't happen too often. I95 from Quantico to the Capital Beltway is a literal 20 plus mile long 3 to 4 lane wide parking lot. Lots of stop and go and "mushing along".

I gained 1.5MPG with adding the K&N CAI and they black strips on the ground got three times longer after installing when taking off!

According to my MPG readout I get 28.2 MPG since Torrie tuned my truck.....that is what it says...must be true?...:dontknow: .............

Great looking truck, I tried 4 CAI'S..... K&N drop in, Mopar, Volant, and JMB,
I liked the sound and SOTP perfomance of the Mopar, but I like the intergrated catch can with the JMB so I'm working with that now.
Regarding mpg all I can say it that my RC is way better than my SRT* Jeep:p
