GAS TANK

Ok guys so my final piece of wiring is finnally coming so ill be able to hopfully get my truck running(NORMAL LOL). With that being said i still have the 03 ram gas tank and fuel pump, but i did however buy an srt10 pump my problem is the baskets between the two pump look identical except the top lockring. Does anyone know if the tanks on the two different trucks are the same with just different lockrings(cant seem to find just the lockring neither to try out my therory) or am i gonna have to either A. get a new tank or B. take both pumps apart and swap around parts and have a huuuuge headache
