so i bought the truck last monday!!! used 1/4 of a tank in 2 hours.
Post how long a tank lasts you, and what mpg you are getting, its gotta be better than me!

My tank has lasted me 1-1/2 months and I get 23 mpg :D

My SRT - a full tank lasted a few days depending upon how much I goosed it. Avg 9 mpg on a regular basis.

Welcome to the site Tarheel and thanks for posting up

Welcome to the forum. You will notice most people dont care about fuel or they wouldnt have bought the trucks, but needless, I get 9-10 cty, 12-15 hwy

i take the company van home now :D now i dont have to worry about racking up the miles. as far as mileage its definetly not a concern. average 13mpg driving a minimum of 50mph in 4th everywhere, its in my blood ;)

Mine stays at 11.1 mpg but I've done as well as 14.2 on a trip. My old Hemi averaged 13.5 around town. Drive it like you stole it and it's going to suck it down!:D

Was getting 14.8 the first 500 miles -- now getting 13.9 at 796 miles - me thinks the mileage will go down as the PCM releases the beast -- Dodge dealer says between 1000-2000 the PCM will have let loose the Kracken! Still, at this point it flys so I can't complain

Over the last 9000 miles I have averaged 10.2 in varied driving conditions....including lotsa fun stuff.........

Welcome to the asylum.....

yeah i unfortunatly care somewhat about gas, this is my daily, and im 20 yrs old. my insurance is like 238 a month, i don't know what all you guys are paying.

A tank of gas lasts me 1 1/2 wks. I only drive 12 miles one way.
Average mpg 9.

Don't much care though, gas is coming down in price:driver:
Drive, Drive a lot, and Drive Faster... Support fossil fuels!:vroam:
:burnout:

about 12.3 to12.9 in the city...and anywhere from 17.3 to my best of 18.4 on the highway. We are blessed here with good roads, and no remarkable elevation.
The track is another story...:D

My insurance is $78.00 a month.
I still get the "Safe Driver" discount...
They haven't caught me yet!:elefant: :aetsch:

haha must be nice!!! my insurance was gonna be 500 a month for one of these, but my accident from when i was 16 just came off so i had to get the truck

Check on your insurance bro also, your 04 is listed as a regular Ram truck not a SRT, but the 05's and 06's are listed different in the insurance list, or it is in north carolina.

my insurance company lists mine as an SRT unfortunatly. i was hoping it would just be a ram 1500 but it isn't

i pay 175 per month. car insurance sucks here no geico or anything like that just rip you off. i hate insurance with a passion. im 20 yrs old also, gota have fun while im young. even tho a good portion of my salary is going towards it. nothing like getting in it and crusing tho, instantly makes my day better

Hahaha, welcome to the Gas Guzzlers Club!

I am currently getting about 8.3 mpg in town. I don't like to drive slow! :D

Couldn't care less about the cost of fuel, as long as the spousal unit keeps working.

Insurance is about 100 a month (USAA). Being a senior citizen has its advantages.

Welcome the the fray!
