to make a long story short i had an 05 reg cab that i bought new and wound up selling it last year.really regretted it and wound up buying another 05 with 5,000 miles on it.the truck has never been touched at all.not even an air filter or mufflers.this thing has got 411(or 410)gears in it.my other one of course had the 456 gears.has any one else ran into this.truck was made in feb of 05.i have checked it by the speed in gears and also by spinning the driveshaft method.

All 05's came with the 4.56 gears.
My guess is the previous owner swapped them out thinking he would gains some gas mileage.

Mine was built in late 04 and has 4:56's.
