Gearbox problem?

I am in the UK and have an 04 srt10, does anybody else have any problem shifting gear from 5th to 6th, I have to fight with the gearchange to get into 6th am I doing something wrong, I change into 6th around 55-60 mph.
Any ideas?

when was the last time you changed your clutch fluid???

you dont need to be shifting in to 6th unless your doing 65-70+ imo..

6th is way to low for that..

do you have a promblem getting into first or reverse?

Not sure if clutch fluid has been changed as not owned truck very long it has done 26000 miles.(All other forward gears ok)
Reverse can be difficult.
I will take truck out tonight and give it a try at 65/70.

Shouldn't matter what speed he's going at...transmission should slip right in from 5th to 6th. I would certainly agree with you that in most cases 6th is better left to 60mph or better.

I'd start with a proper fluid flush. I've got 100K miles on mine and found frequent flushing really helps. At the very least every oil change sux out the fluid in the resv and simply replace with new fluid to the proper level.
