Gears Ordered

Talked with Devin today at Unitrax and ordered up my 4.88's!!!:rock: Yeah baby I am excited. Have an appointment with the dealer on Aug 1 for part III in my saga known as "the oil leak fix" and installation of the gears. Lets hope the gears go in better than the oil leak fixes!! LOL

FYI, entire 4.88 kit from Unitrax was only $400.

Yeah after much research.........and me taking my sweet ass time to make a decision, I went with the 4.88's. For my driving conditions I think it will be awesome.

Yeah I would have to circle the island many times to get the 500 or whatever miles it takes to break em in!!

And yes I am counting the days!! I was telling Devin and his Dad Jerry, "I want what you sold to Mas, he was there last month"!!!! LOL

Uniboy would know better than me, but the way I remember Devin telling me over the phone was that no I do not need a new carrier. Call me a dummy but I asked a lot of questions some needed some not and have learned and forgot a lot about gears in the last month!!

I will post pics of what I do end up getting when I receive them.

I am not sure if they needed to change the carrier or just install the gears only but I am assuming the unit that has my 4.10's bolted onto is the carrier. I will take a better look at it when I get home.
