Dammm ive been looking in the auto trader and i cant find a single truck cheaper than i paid for mine 2 years ago... this limited production and limited import to Canada is a good thing... .. i paid 40k 2 years ago used.. and now the cheapest 04 is 44k.. :) might be able to get out of this thing and make a profit lol... or just keep it and be happy.. but what a diff compared to the states where the cheapest is 28k or something ... and now the $$$ is almost even .. something like 4 or 5 cents on the $$ difference..also most of the trucks up here are closer to 50k its kinda nuts .. anyway im rambling on here .. im out..

Yeah i know everything in Alberta is jacked....... Salaries, house prices, vehicle prices,, you name it. I know in Fort Mcmurray it costs roughly 11-12 bucks for a meal at Wendy's whereas in Red Deer it's 7-8.

The only problem is that the trucks that are in the autotrader for 50k are not selling. I check it at least every 2nd week and most of them have been in there for 5 months or more... the one black one in Spruce Grove has been in there before i bought mine last year.

Trust me i am very tempted to sell mine with the S/C on it and then go buy one in the US,,, i could save myself a lot of money.... it's just that i got mine with 0% financing.

yah it is crazy, i lucked out and got mine in cold lake for $38,000 compared to the rest of alberta, and don't see many around, i haven't seen any in my area besides mine

That loonie is almost a USD now.

1.00 USD = 1.06134 CAD

United States Dollars 1 USD = 1.06134 CAD
Canada Dollars 1 CAD = 0.942204 USD

Mine's for sale, less than $40k (USD) too. . . :)

i paid 29,900 cnd from just outside toronto then had it shipped to good old calgary not bad after all the crap ( tires, brakes, cat back and mids) on it with tax and shipping i have less than 40 i also thought about selling and going to the us and buying a 06 but the ones up here don't seem to move for more than about 40k so at the break even point i think i will keep it.

I'd imagine we could do one for Alberta,, i know of at least 10 people with these trucks,, it's just finding a place and getting it all together.

Yeah i thought about that too before i ordered my S/C.. but then all the boosted trucks were '05's and i really like the '06 interior over the '05.

i think i will stay away from the sc this year maybe next who knows the shop it is in now is trying to steer me in that direction, i still have tint and headers to do first. then it will be winter and have to take a nap

Make sure you order from a vendor here... Every S/C setup that i've seen done locally is terrible. The latest one had us laughing as the guy quoted (off his dyno sheet) 768 RWHP on 7psi of boost and stock internals. I looked and there was no VEC to be found i asked him if he tuned it and he had this look . I've seen one locally that blew up and another that my buddy knew blew up... mine faired no better but that was due to pulling a trailer.. ;)
