IZ and I installed Boomer's new Gen IV shifter yesterday. I had no idea it would improve the shifting this much! Did the STINKER harmonic mod before testing the shifter without it. I have to say that vibration was a non issue for me. Not at all noticable. The third gear claim is for real, no doubt about it! Slammed it forward and it caught everytime without fail. I dig the tight feel of it, very easy to get acquainted with from the start. The drive to work took on a whole new meaning,:burnout: challenging everything on wheels. The school buss had me off the line but most of you know that I have trouble with the launch thing. HIGHLY recommended! Thanks Gary, very cool product bud.

AND I WAS WONDER WHERE WERE YOU BEING... NOW I KNOW....

HAVE FUN W/ YOUR NEW SHIFTER:rock:

Beat by a school bus off the line.:( You really do need to work on that launch Shawn. That's embarrassing. ;) :D

I just did the rubber band mod, I also stuck some small lead weights(tire balancing) on the shaft to adsorb the harmonics. This has helped alot but I can't get the whine out of 6th gear, very high pitched and noticable!!:dontknow:

Oh well, the shifting performance out weighs the noise!!

Left mine virgin like it came from Boomer...just reminds me of the kind of vehicle I have (in the garage) to play with.

Marc, how is the puppy?

Sounds awesome Shawn, did you get a ripstick too?
Thanks...nah, went with the other shift lever. Boomer's new upcoming design sounds interesting though.

In my defense Silver, it was a "special" buss. So it didn't have the length and weight of your typical school buss. The kids in it were ruthless, never had that many fingers thrown at me at one time, especially by a bunch 6 year olds:mad: . I'll work on it John. I'm sure we will meet up again and when we line up, its mine baby! I will make you proud pop.
