Just picked up my 2005 QC from the dealership. They replaced the motor to the tune of $15,968 dollars worth of work and parts. My part was $100 on the deductible.
It was losing power and finally just crapped out at 45k miles. 6 months prior I had passed 36k and bought the 7/70 warranty for 2 grand. 2 months after that the tranny shelled out which would have cost 4 grand so I was happy.
A month later the ABS unit went out for another grand worth of work. Then the motor. So far the dealership has spent 20k on repairs and I'm out just 100 bucks a visit for the deductible.
I had a hard time parting with 2 grand, but it saved my butt.
