Man, good series to end the season. I, being from the bay area, am a life long Giants fan. Yes, it's been a rough road to say the least.

The game tonight was a good one even though my boys didn't win. SD gets lots of respect from me, tons of heart on that team and they are not giving up and rolling over. We'll see how the series pans out.

To be honest, I'm hoping SD takes 2 out of 3 so they can possibly go to the playoffs in the wild card slot. Then they would face the Phillies and SF would face the Reds. I'd rather the Giants play the Reds in the first round than the Braves. The Braves are no joke.

I was very happy to see the Padres pull this one out, Go Padres.

Those who know me are well aware that I'm a die hard Dodgers fan....since Brooklyn even... And my teams woes, both in and out of the courtroom are well documented. This season was tough on everyone who bleeds Dodger blue.

But having said that, I do wish the Padres all the very best this year. They are indeed a talented and scrappy team with a desire to win it all. And I hope that they do.

Maybe then, the Padre fans (those who really aren't true baseball people) will finally have a World Series win to their credit and hopefully then will they quit fuckin' whining all the time.

I haven't seen a bigger pack of weenies since Farmer John first created the Dodger Dog. Those particular Padre fans (who simply want their team to win) REALLY do need to grow the fuck up....

Padres beat the Giants again today: 4-2.

Baseball fckin' rocks.

GO PHILLIES!

BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK World Series appearances.......yea lets do this
Yea that would be cool. Would they be the first to lose world series back to back?

Don't matter, the Phils are headed to the series. hehehe

very tough to argue with that. Phils are super stacked and playing awesome ball as of late.

Well there is one thing I love about the Dodgers. Without them, we wouldn't have such a great rivalry.

Giants as usual are bringing it down to the wire. Well see how today pans out for us. We have Sanchez on the hill so hopefully he's on today. He's been pretty variable but when he's on, he's pretty unhittable.

I agree with all of the above, If Latos is his old self it will be a very good game.
Go Padres.

Why is it that every team within' spitting distance claims the Dodgers as their arch rival, their nemesis... to vociferous chants of, "BEAT LA, BEAT LA....!!!"? The Dodgers don't consider The Pads as an arch rival.... They just happen to be in their division...

And surely, the Dodgers and Giants rivalry goes all the way back to Brooklyn. Likewise for the Yankees.

But, the real and longterm rivalry for the Dodgers is with The Cardinals. Hell, it goes all the way back (almost to the fkn 1800's) if memory serves... Yes, I was there, smartass....

Well, I do hope the Holywood Stars....oops, I mean the San Diego Padres can pull it off and beat the Giants today..maybe go on to win it all.... Anything to spoil the chances of those fucking Giants.... I hate those guys. ;)

Well the Pads. choked, But the Bolts won. I was watching both games at the same time, Whew.

padre fans shouldn't be surprised at the outcome of this season. you guys see it every year in football with your chargers! play well but come playoff time or the stretch run, it's all CHOKETIME!!!! padres had a nice lil run for a bunch of scrubby triple A players and adrian gonzalez. soon gonzalez will be a yankee and you'll be back to finishing last in the west. i too am a dodger fan and we underachieved bigtime. we did make the last 2 NL champ series but fell short, it's all cool. so, long story short......fuck the chargers and the padres!!!!! peace....

What no love for the Giants?!? haha

Good game Padres. Gotta tip my cap to the Padres cause they didn't go down without a fight.

Yea well see how the Giants do against Atlanta. Atlanta is a tough club so we may be in for it. It all comes down to whether were on or off. This team has been so inconsistent this year, they're really hard to gauge.

We shall see.

You gotta hand it to 'em! They played as a team and, as the underdog, took care of business against an awesome team! Congrats to you and the Giants! I hope they take it all this year.
