Gigi died this morning

Gigi has a home, condo and all the stuff......she was a pack-rat and kept everything....we found every check she had ever written........Why??????

After cleaning out Gigi's house I can tell you......purge all the stuff you don't use don't leave it for your kids.....and if you have no children....don't leave it to your relatives.....man she had sooooooo much stuff and a lot of it should have been pitched long ago.

Walt, I completly understand. When cleaning out my parents house we found my grandmothers tax returns going back to the sixties!!! Dad didnt throw them out when she died in 83!!!! There wasnt a piece of furniture or shelf or closet that wasnt stuffed with old bills, checks, paper etc....... God bless my dad, but dayum, he really kept everything!! It was a cold day temps in the 30's so we lit a fire and burned all potenially sensitive papers all day long........never turned the heat on in the house that day......didnt need too!!

Good for you for kicking out the a hole lawyer!!! Screw em, keep the house for yourself. Its good to hear you and Vickie are doing better as well.

I had to deal with the same thing when my sister died Aug 31.She kept EVERY card and letter and receipt she had received for years and years.Some things you may want to keep,but think about what your relatives will have to see and deal with when you die.We filled a dumpster twice with all the junk and sold all the rest that was worth anything at a yardsale.

I am purging a LOT of my old letters and notebooks and useless junk.
