GLOBAL WARMING IN MISSISSIPPI

Global warming is so bad in Mississippi that we have had the longest stretch of cold weather in 7 years!! How about you guys up North, I hear its warming up to zero soon:D :D :D Funny how the Al Gores of the global warming contingent are so cold they can't speak out against it,must be busy rubbing two sticks together to stay warm!!!:dontknow:
 
The earth goes through climate shifts. There were ice ages, then warmed back up, all without humans doing it. The problem is people who think we are causing the changes, we are just a spec on the galaxy and have little to no influence on what will happen at some point. I think the earth has a better chance at getting hit and destroyed by a large metor than we do at destroying it. Hell, we can not predict rain let alone the affect we have on the climate.

You know I could really go for a little global warming today. The high here today was in the twenties.

Irony is, another big rock will hit the earth some day and we will be wiped out like the dino's but eh ill be dead before that so whatever.
 
Man it hit a record high of 68 around here today for the first time since weeks ago. I would LOVE some global warming right about now.

Oh no, here goes my scientific thoughts.....

As for the planet we can't do anything to mess it up. This rock was here billions of years before man and will out last us eons after; thus shaking us off like a slight headache. With earthquakes, meteor showers, comet bombardment (which brought the oceans), volcanic eruptions, ice ages, magnetic pole shifting, solar radiation, tornados, hurricanes, continental drift, plate tectonics, mountain building, erosion, cataclysmic moon forming event, tidal waves, tsunamis, Vanilla Ice… And some Greener Earth protester is concerned about me not recycling my plastics and aluminum cans? Earth will do fine. Global warming is no sweat (no pun intended). It’s us we have to worry about in regards to the environment. Damn I’m cold….

I'm affraid so. And it will be because I'll continue to cry until these stupid reality shows stop airing. But I don't think that's happening anytime soon so I have my industrial grade ACME rubber ducky floating tube ready...:D

We aint got a temperature up here, i looked at the thermometer and it read 0.
 
Hell we are having a heat wave, its 5 degrees right now.

It only got cold Saturday and it is hanging around. Plus 10F. We really have not had a true winter (cold and snow) for a couple of years. The only bad thing is that sledding has been crappy. Snow hit last week (Up North) but no deep frost for the hard packed sled trails. This weekend will be the first good sledding weekend all year. It makes for a costly hobby when we don't get the cold weather, a trail pass is $200.00-we have 24K miles of groomed trails. My favorite thing to do in the winter.

If this global warming, I'm in. Six more weeks and the truck comes back to life.
