STOCK computer (engine and trans) from the Tahoe and stuff it all up behind the dash. Should be plenty of room in there.... Shouldn't be a bad swap at all. :rock: You should be able to find a dash conversion from LMC Trucks. :dontknow: At least an Autometer setup (with a autometer conversion box)....

Well hopefully I have been able to get a 5.3 v8 from a 200tahoe, trans and all

gonna swap it over into my 67 stepside,

it shouldnt be too bad a deal, except for the wiring, but jsut want it for a dependable daily deal, and make it a shop truck sorta thing,

A/C, nice stero, seats stuff, but usable.

but if anyone has tips jsut thro them out, I may start up a thread on the entire deal step by step,

I i hope to get started on it when I get back

i've had 3....although none of them with an FI motor...72cheyenne LWB, 67 cst SWB, and the creampuff 72 cst SWB factory ac, ps, pb, tilt wheel, 12 bolt, front discs...

but i tell ya what i really wanted was to put a 6.6L td, and an allison in it....the trans is huge...that's kinda the biggest hurdle....but don't steal my idea fugger
