If you had the metal tubing for the CAI Kit I would take it... What Happend to it?

I never had the rest of the kit, the body shop decided to not throw it in the back of the truck with the other parts after they did their estimate.

I sourced out the materials to make the tube from this site: http://intakehoses.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT

The tube is 4.5" by about 33" with two bends, the coupler can be bought from this same site or JMB's coupler should also work, he told me $45 for one of his.

I have read on here that the k&n cai does no good but their website claims 19 hp at the wheels. does it make a difference or not. my truck is still stock but wanna get a little more out of it.

If you buy any cold air intake for these trucks you'll be buying it for the sound and the looks. None of them really add much HP, the Mopar and the Volant probably pick up some power at higher speeds due to the ram air.

true statement, just add a K&N to the stock box & you're as good as any other performance wise. :)

Go for headers, catless mids, three inch exhaust (probably magnaflow muffler)...this is the baseline for performance improvements. Big bang for the bucks...probably less than $2k. Everything starts from there...

I may be interested in a throttle body spacer tapped just like the way the other post asked (2 n2o ports). Do you still have one for sale?
