Yep, I was going to surprise you guys and drive my twin turbo to Ohio this weekend......BUT........Just got off the phone with Hennessey and they decided to re-plumb the oil lines to the turbos and add larger catch cans for the overflow oil to the turbos.....they removed both turbos and they were sent back to precision for testing...:(....they seem to think there is no need for the flow control to the turbos and they recommend to allow as much oil as possible to the turbos to restrict oil flow could cause premature ware.....allow all the oil to flow unrestricted and re-plumb with larger catch cans are in order.....my truck will not be ready this week...:(.....so I am going to stay home and work.

I would be a fish out of water to be there and no truck...:(.....so take lots of pictures and someone post them up for all of us who are unable to go.

Nope, I'm not making it either. I'm pretty bummed about it too, I was getting myself all worked up to go, but things just didn't come together. Next year if I'm still alive though LOL.

Sorry your plans didn't work out Walt. But it sounds like your truck is getting fixed up. That's a good thing.

Yea, I'm a weenie too...
Planned on going, just coudn't swing it this year. And last year was such a blast!!

Walt, you should still go man. It's worth it to just hang out, watch the racing and burnout contests, and go cruising at night. And of course there are the Boomer stories... them's the best!:D

Mike, looks like JH is going the extra mile to make sure it's right this time....so right now I am happy......but I would have liked to do a road trip to Ohio and race it for the first time......when she comes home I will go to the track and run the piss out of her.....then start trying to lower my time with wheels tires ect...ect...ect.....I will let you know how it is going...:)

while she is in...have John order you some slicks and install a line lock (couple hundred $$)....might as well do it now....1 run down the track and you are going to be screaming for some slicks....

Geez...I was lookin forward to seein your truck too Walt..But, yagoddado what yagoddado I guess. No wait..fugg that....git yer arse up there anyway...While its about the trucks n stuff, its more about the la familia..think of me as a distant cousin..lol
 
I think you should go anyway. I would give Stinkers left nut to go. Hell all y'all are going to do is sit around and drink. You don't need a truck for that.

Some people make things out to be larger than they are, and maybe I do that, but when some meet me they will understand me, just very straight foreward and truthfull, as wifey says "If ya dont want to know dont ask Stinker" I love everyone on this forum, and would go the extra mile, but truth is truth, there are some that get along like flowers and poop, just dont mix, I cant change that, and I dont think anyone else can either.

I myself will keep my feelings and remarks to myself, that I pledged to Jack and Patrick. I myself plan to look at 1000 or more classy mopars, check in on racin, drink some beer, look at women, do some cruisin, and a lot of bench racin, jsut kik back and have fun. some are right I am a backwoods, trashy truckin moon pie eatin hillbilly, but I can also be your best friend in times of need.:D
