kool - glad it worked out for you :)

upstream sensor cable is short

I read a lot of threads baout that, I thought it was only the downstream to be extended which I don't need because I have SCT programmed to ignore them

passenger side connector is a PIA to reach!

no you will still need to connect the FRONT 2 O2's even with the SCT they still need to be connected....

you need to get some wire and make the O2 wires longer - remember to pluge the rear o2's

also remember to make the white wires when you cut the o2's then use the aftermarket wires to extend them to reach the connections

pass side is a bit*h but needs to be there i would not wait till the truck is back together, do it now :)

there sould be 3 holes altogether in the headers and mid's

the front 2 o2's and the a/f bung :)

got it out, it's not so difficult when you know where to look, thanks for this post

I'll carefully extend those wires...

I meant I thought the extension were for down only...

hey attila, dont forget to anti-seize all the bolts before install. it makes it alot easier if you ever have to remove them...

lol. i'm not going anywhere, i may lose this one, but there will be another one later on. maybe a vca edition (dream on) lol

some tips so far:

- don't waste time and WD40 on manifold bolts: the thread is so far the head and the WD doesn't even reach the head

- i put some tape on the gasket to hold in place while positioning the header: don't forget to remove it before tightening the bolts

- the retainers of the mid pipe bolts suck: try to keep them in place with a wrench before stripping them or... use a grinder!

- remove the inner fenders, it takes 5 minutes, can't think how to do the job without doing this.

- get crow foot wrenches or do one.... I'll post the pic of mine but I'll get a set as well

- put a rag between the exhaust tip and the rear bumper while you remove it

- hang the muffler with some rope to the frame so you can avoid to remove it

- do not remove the pipes that go from the muffler to the tip

It's always easier when you have a beautiful lady to help you out.:D :congrats:

Sorry, I should have added this tip earlier.

For holding the gasket in place, cut a piece of copper electrical wire about 3 inches long. Then strip it so you have the individual copper strands. Use the individual strands to tie the gasket to the header. Since the strands are only about .003 thick, you can actually leave them in place without any ill affects.
