Going to the Track next Friday and.......

And im thinking of taking as much weight off that i can. Im thinking pass. side seat, sub, spare, ect. I think im goning to leave tha tailgate on though. I just want to see what difference it would make. There is a scale that we can drive on at the end of the track so i can see how much the truck would weigh. It already weighs 4700 lbs. stock and i ran a 13.4 there a few months ago so i can see the difference.

I also have a set of 20" wheels here. Would they fit? Make a difference? They are as wide as my 22's and slightly shorter (3/4 inch maybe).

What you guys think??

The shorter tires with give you more gearing, which can help. You can also ice down your intake manifold between runs, air up your front tires, air down your rear tires, remove your air filter, only have about 5 gallons of gas in the truck, and if you have the money get some drag radials.

50 psi in the front at the track, 22 in the rear. Fold your mirrors back also.

Yeah, psi is diffinetly a must.

I wish i had money for drags... Im hoping to get into the 12's on stock rubber, drop-in K&N and exhaust upgrade. Depending on the how the day is, i might take the filter out.
