My wife and I will be in Williamsburg this weekend. Decided to get away for a couple days and do Busch Gardens. If anyone from the area has any restaurant suggestions or see's a Silver RC, throw out a hi sign.

Dave,
We live about 20 miles from there. There are LOTS of restaurants a couple of miles West of William and Mary on Rt. 60 (exit 238). We've tried a lot of them, but honestly, we still prefer Outback (which is also there). Traffic may be crazy though, with the Queen here this weekend.

From what my wife says, The Queen is in Colonial Williamsburg today. Jamestown tomorrow and in Kentucky Saturday. Kinda hoping that since we're going to Busch Gardens, she will draw all the attraction to other locations. Maybe BG won't be too crowded. Outback sounds good. We don't have one locally and always look forward to their food. Thanks for the info.

Takin' the video camera. I'll get some action shots.:D

That would be cruel. Don't wanna tease a brotha like that. After all, it is Springtime. No tellin' what the animals will be doing.:D

Yeah, the missus and I are looking forward to the little getaway. Gonna ride some rides and see some shows and just enjoy the park.

We can try meeting this weekend. There's a car show at Virginia Beach Saturday. It's pretty darn big.

Anyway let me know...

Won't be going as far as VA Beach. Once we get to Williamsburg, we'll probably stay right in that area. Gonna be at BG Friday afternoon, most of the day Sat. and possibly Sun. morning before we head back. My wife's not into the car/truck stuff so I pretty much promised her an "Us" weekend. They need that kind of stuff every once in awhile.:dontknow: I'll try to make one of the GTG's up in that area next time. Until then, .

We spent all afternoon there. She took one look at the Log Flume and said "No way". Got her to ride the Sky Lift (Cable Car) and saw a couple shows. Ate like fools and I had a beer (O'douls) good ;) . Gonna spend most of the day there tomorrow. I'm going to ride a coaster or two tomorrow. I couldn't this evening (full stomach). Didn't want someone wearing my chicken parmigiana.

LOL, thats great dude!!! As kids we would drop firecrackers into the woods or (kinda gross) loogees onto people from the cable cars!!! :dontknow: We were bad kids!!! Almost got kicked out of the park for the firecracker stunt.....

Ride the Loch Ness Monster..........its a classic coster that wont make you want to barf but has a nice big drop and the interconnecting loops that are pretty cool. That ride openned in spring of 83.......and its still a great ride. I rode it bout 3 years ago when I was there with my nephews.
