I'm getting ready to do another oil change and went in to my local Advance Auto for my Mobil 1 0W-40. They stopped carrying it. So I'm looking for a replacement and find they have Penzoil Platinum Full Synthetic on sale BOGO. I pick up two cases 5W-30 (6 Qts. each) but only pay for one. $37 and change. My cheapest oil change to date. Might have to go back and get a couple more cases at that price.

Penzoil doesn't offer 0W-40. 5W-30 was the closest viscosity I could get.

I get mine @ walmart...

Depending on weather conditions for that oil change..my last (15w-50) was 24.00 bucks for Mobil 1 - 5 quart jug.

I was just at Walmart today and they said they stopped carrying it. It must be a regional thing. As Advanced Auto parts is carrying it here.

Mine has it....dunno...:dontknow:
My Walmart has never carried the Mobil 1 0W-40. It seems they carry most of the other viscosities in both quarts and the jugs. In my town, I've only found the 0W-40 in quarts and now that source is gone. I'll have to check Costco the next time I'm down there.

the walmart i go in fl carries mobil 1 0w-40 5.97 per quart --no jugs though--they also carried the mopar filters--suprised me --i bought the last 2 ...

costco i have seen mobil 1 in diffrent weights for 5.00 a quart. wish i could buy it for that from DCX.

Mobil1 is listed on the shelf at my Walmart but they never have it stocked. I asked and they said its coming... :dontknow:

Also, got the Mobil1 filter M-204... I love it. $8 bucks

Wal Mart in my area stopped carrying Mobil 0W-40, too! What gives?

I had no luck finding it at Walmart but Autozone always has it in stock...

That's where I get it, for a buck more than Wal-Mart. It gives me a little piece of mind using the recommended stuff, though.

I'm gonna put some regular 5W-20 in it.

If anyone is interested, Kragan auto parts currently has mobil 1 on sale at $1 off per quart, no limit. I just picked up a bunch of 0-40w from the local store at $5.19 a quart..
