good deal on ebay?

Just wait a few more months, you'll be able to pick one up for a 1000 bucks

The dealers killed our market, and this don't help either.

I don't understand this logic. The trucks were stagnant at 50k and are still stagnant at 35k. The dealers didn't kill anything. They have to do what they got to do to get the trucks off the lot. I know it sucks to see the trucks go for considerably less than what some of us paid but that's life. It's a lesson learned.

Not sure if this is truly a scam or not, but the @yahoo email in this ad does not show up in any Google search.

But then, there is positive feedback for this ID as recently as Dec 11.

This is a good price right now, but not sure for how long it is going to stay this low. The miles are a bit high, but this truck has a sunroof as well.

Agreed - the dealers don't want them sitting around anymore than a private seller will. But they DO ultimately set the market price, not you or I.

Daimler-Chrysler totally missed it on pricing/market for this truck. Priced it too high and made too many. Bad call, and like you said - lesson learned.

However, the trucks ARE selling at the lower price. I wouldn't call it stagnant. There's hardly any new trucks left now, especially compared to six months ago.

His postive feedback are only things that he has purchased. There is no feedback on sells. Is it normal for ebay people to list their personal email address for questions?

i have seen this truck for sale earlier on ebay,(that ugly grill) i want to say they wanted to much for it.maybe they are hoping the price will climb before its all said and done?but if no more bids come than someone got a hell of a deal.

Remember guys, they couldn't give Superbirds away when new. Now they are 6 figures. These trucks will go up in value, but it will take some time.

Bill.

I admire your opptimism and the superbird reference is something for all of us to think about. However, cars are piss poor investments and nobody can say for sure whether or not this truck will be a collector's item. Drive the hell of it. If it goes up in value, good, if not, oh well. At least you had a blast!

imho the only reason they are going so cheeply is because nobody can afford the gas for these pigs.i know one thing for sure and that is i spend alot more time at the pumps than i used to.for most people an extra 20.00 or so a week extra for gas could be the breaking point to poverty.
