Goofy reveiw dude

The TRX was too wasted potential, they should have done a 20 yr SRT-10 anniversary or something along those lines. Kept the Viper motor or made a RWD street truck. Not everyone wants an AWD Off road stump smasher. i sure don't. I can take my QC to the store or go and blast it out on the highway turn heads just as easily.
It would have been cool if they did a 10 aniversary truck .. Maybe the still will hahahaha ! With normal rules returning getting rid of stupid climate control mandates ..

Maybe! What could they change that would be drastically different?

Its all BS with emisson control devices and inspections .. seriously climate control scam is all about money and costing consumers .. the bitching about climate control in the auto industry is claimed to be worse now than it was back in the early 1970's making people the world is going to end hahahaha .. so all that equipment and added restrictions shit they added to cars hasnt made a damn bit of difference and car prices have skyrocketed ..
1 volcano erution throws out more Carbon than all the cars ever manufactured .. maybe the climated turds should go try to put giant caps on volcanos hahaha

Maybe Elon will hire a task force!!

The volcano cappers! Lol

None of that increases the cool factor so nahhhhh why bother
It eliminates those things and opens up the possibillities of producing more powerful gas vehicles and who knows maybe a special 10 again ... thats the Cool factor ! :p

Perfect place to rehire the DEI crowd hahaha

Seen a couple of TRX's in NZ. Bit pricey $255K They won't be happy when I go straight passed them hahaha. As for 10's I have seen 6 or so now. There were a couple of them up north. There are 3 close to me. 77 in NZ

Yeah , I think theyll be POed in the smoke hahahaha !

I agree. I think more people would have bought a "sport truck" rather than a 4x4 offroad type truck. I'm sure a few have been converted, and I have certainly seen a few Hellcat swapped Ram pickups around. The downside of it all would be modern pricing. A "modern SRT Ram" would likely be in the $100K range if not more, which is prohibitively expensive for most people. I certainly could not afford a $2,000/month payment. That's house mortgage money for me. So, I am thrilled that I could buy a very nice, relatively low mileage, already built (cam/heads/exhaust), SRT-10 for $23K cash.

Tha is a lot of 10's there . Heck that may be more than Florida is / was .. how about Cali ?
I haven't seen one in years and i go out of state several times each year and haven't seen one on the freeway or in the states I go through and to. They must all be in NZ! Lol

Absolutely! That was almost like you stole it! Hahah and the whole vehicle pricing these days is absurd. So are eggs and you can't even drive those lol

Definately appears you got a great deal on the truck ..
are the internals Forged ?

As far as I am aware, the crank, pistons and rods are stock. The cam is a "Rattlesnake" Venomous 1 Racing custom grind, and lifters are Johnson link bar roller lifters. The heads have been ported. The throttle body is V1R's "Bigmouth" throttle body, and finally, the headers are Gibson shorty headers (not the best, but they work) and exit the side exhaust.
All that together is what Scott calls his "V1R650" package because it boosts the crank horsepower to around 650.
From what I understand, forged internals are not needed until you exceed 800 crank horsepower, which can only be done using turbos. If you do N/A cam/heads or a supercharger, you won't exceed 700 crank horsepower.

I can tell you from experience that unless you intend on using your SRT-10 as a serious race vehicle, anything over 600hp is really just a waste. It's nearly impossible to launch correctly without breaking traction and sliding everywhere on a public street. (Prepped track is WAY different - very sticky)
But yeah, in general, on the streets, 600hp is plenty honestly.
