I don't know but it just doesn't sound like a good deal to me for some reason:)

iPhone Upgrade

As a valued AT&T customer, we can offer you a discounted iPhone upgrade at a higher price, along with a 2-year commitment and an $18 upgrade fee. Please proceed with the online upgrade process for pricing details. You may qualify for a full discount on a standard iPhone upgrade on 10/02/2010

I just got the Blackberry storm last week. Tried the iphone with at&t for 3 weeks and cancled that service. Blackberry storm through verizon is superior... IMHO

it's because you aren't eligible for an upgrade for another year....it's all in the verbiage...it's still cheaper than buying one outright if you wanted one...;)

i bought 3 iphones 2 weeks ago, they waived the upgrade fee on one line,we only paid 100 bucks per phone .

i luv this phone except for the battery

that's what happens when you're a "preferred customer";)

my bill is around 400/month with all the phones...so they love me...

but 5k/year to have phones, IMO, is insane...

but i dig the iphones...bout to get another one...

Was it the storm 2 ? I didn't like the whole screen button thing. I looked at those and decided to wait for either the motorola android next week or the samsung omnia 2 before black friday.
