Wow I ran down to the local dealer ( who by the way was way quiet) I got all TCB's taken care of, I ended up with new oil cooler lines, power steering lines, new steering wheel ( thats a big deal, they look great new) I got a new rear seal on the tranny, and a couple of things from a drain plug to a visor clip. While I was there I got a 30k sevice for the mst part I think I got a good deal:D but I think I got f%^cked on the rear end service which apparently should have been included in the 30k service:dontknow:

Moral to the story if you have warranty work get it done now, they would have painted the truck if I had asked;)

When steering wheel is not pretty anymore and smooth and chipped, bitch and voila new one arrives ( now dont get me wrong Im no free loading pos) the last owner must have been doing bondage and S&M with this steering wheel :D ( wonder if there is any pics of perversion with an 06+ qc in mineral gray?) If there isnt there should be:D anyhow I asked the dealer what he thought of the steering wheel? He said can I get the old one? ( possible perv here:marchmellow: ) I said fine , new one arrives what a wonderfull thing it is too:D

How many miles are on your truck? I want to have my steering wheel replaced but I have 33,000+ and I'm afraid they will say it is "normal wear and tear".

Hey Travis,

I had mine replaced at about 35800 miles :D I was thinking they were going to say normal wear and tear. I just took it in and the service manager said she would replace it if I bought a steering wheel cover for it. I can tell you that the new wheel has the best feeling to it and it is such a beautiful thing!!!!

I got a comfortably thick black padded steering wheel cover for #1900. It protects while all the while feeling good to grip when I'm driving.

The steering wheel fraying is fairly common among members here. My dealer replaced mine right after I bought the truck. It was fraying when I bought it with 2,300 miles by the original owner. I now have 22,000 on the truck and it is fraying again..:(

As you know down here in FL the sun hammers the s%^t out of them and if its all highway milesthe top of the wheel firstly goes smooth and then as one member said " sticky" and IMO thats nasty:argh:
