Got my Bonus, Need Ideas!

Yeeeup..After the fiance stealing the majority of the Bonus for wedding stuff (Boooo) I got 500 Greens. So I want to spend them on the 10. What do you guys suggest? Im thinking of getting a tune wich is a must need for a any performance mods...or is it? Anything else that would be the Best Bang for my Buck? and no lets not suggest to save it for forced induction or Forged internals! Ha.. im not ready for that just yet.
 
Yea i could stock up on some Royal Purple! Lol... Oooo i like he N02 idea! hmmm... i would still need a tune though, right? And how much is safe? I drive it ALOT btw.

Nitrous and a tune are going to cost a lot more than $500. Are you mostly stock?

Yes Sir... Just CAI, Exhaust (stock mamifold), and some minor head work (valve job for 2.02/1.60)
 
I would go TB or Tune with that kinda money you are talking about. That's just me. I'd like nitrous.. but don't have that cash. Love the idea of heads/cam... but def don't have that kind of money and can't save a penny if my life depended on it.
 
I would suggest shifter, caltracs or lowering kit these are the things you would notice the most for the money you want to spin.
 
Get the truck dyno tuned. It would be your next logical step with a cold air intake and exhaust.
 
If it stills has its cats, I would remove them. This is probably the order I would follow:

1. Tune (I recommend Torrie)
2. shifter (nothing worse then missing 3rd)
3. cat delete and exhaust (then a re-tune)
4. Lower and Caltracs at the same time

Those are the big items in my eyes. Miscelleous things that you work on in-between the above mods:

1. Drop in K&N air filter
2. Throttle body
3. PS lines (keep an eye on these the whole time)

I like the height as it is. especially because of the bumpy roads we got around here, its idaho.

Yea Tune or Nitro sound good but $800 for Nitro is more then $500 and i totally agree with you, I cant save a penny either lol. However i might sneak a few hundrs. here and there to get a basic kit ha

Keep saving and just go for heads and a cam.

I would love Heads/Cam and LT Headers but thats too far way ($6k)

have you replaced your lines yet (oil, PS, Brake)?
Nope i havent yet, and yes they are leaking. Good Idea. Brakes are good. and its got clean oil.

There isnt anyone around here that has done a 10! i live in redneck country lol nothing but Diesel Tunners (we even have a Bully Dog center with Dyno but they are all CA tunes) There are only 3 owners that own Vipers. 1 of them has 2 a Procharged and a Stock one. The other Has a first Gen and the third has a truck (Me)

No Sir, Cats were removed last week. Love the sound. Oh yea i hate 3rd with our shifter!

Already got the K&N Filter
Throttle body would be nice as well but i need a tune to get the best of it
and PS lines.. yea they are a constant ticking bomb.
 
So far it looks like:

1. Tune
2. Nitro
3. Paint Restoration (cut, buff, wax etc.)
4. Cal-tracks
5. Shifter

Good Ideas guys!
