honeycomb is a big improvement....but i have the street scene inserts, and painted mine semi-flat black and they match the rest of the inserts better IMO

@ sanchoba
how did you mount the streetscene grill ?
also with the stupid clamps the grill package come ?
i think my streetscene grill is not like it should be...
it was like the 4-pieces where not fit the grill frame imo.

do u have a close pic from your grill in the flat black ?
was it painted or powdercoated ?

How much $$$ is the oem honeycomb grill ?

I think there over $100 from the vendors or the dealers. You should be able to get one from someone for $50 or less. Or you could always swap grills with someone.

no don't use those clamps, they are terrible. i inserted from the front i beleive (opposite what the directions said) took some bending the material a little(cut and bent some small tabs from theedge of insert itself) and secured with small selftapping screws into the material where they mount on the shell.cleaned them well, etch them with ospho (muriatic acid) spray prime and paint. i used semi-flat black.

no problem it took so long Jim.
your grill look fine , but like Sanchoba , i'm gonna modify and powdercoat my streetscene grill and stick with it , wasn't cheap like the stock...
and it look very close like the grill in the hoodinsert and bumper.

but anyway , thank u very much , now i have some comparison.

btw , sorry for my englisch:eek: writing...
