thats right, was heading into town and passed a new challenger,
Getrag's headquarters is in my town, and they frequently have new models for testing.
so i dropped by and sure enough they have a test mule, it was in real rough condition, but evidently Getrag has the contrac for the axles as Dodge couldnt get anything to hold up.
the car was black with a few non standard parts and he wouldnt let me take any pics, but it was a six speed.
We conversed a long while about the car, and he told me alot of "things" the internet is wrong about
for instance he told me to stop by next week, he is being delivered a SRT8 with a six speed manual tranny
and there will be no 6.4's at all according to dodge in the challenger, yes the dodge engineer rep was there too, really super nice people:rock:
But all I can say is the car , even tho a test mule looks great:rock:
and sounds even better
so hopefully nexxt week I can get a little info on the srt8, and maybe even sneak a pic or two
