Gotta do some Plastic repair on Dash

Has anybody tried these plastic repair kits that I've seen on TV? I scratched the hell out of my passenger side dash and center console. I was hoping I might be able to do some sort of repair myself. Any suggestions?

Just drill a hole and put a switch with a safety cover on there.

Label it: EJECT.
