Alright, i've thought about it and since shorties give low torque but not much
hp in the higher rpms and long tubes do all that but cost more... I'm gonna
try and go with some longtubes... Anyone know where i can find a decient
set for under or around 1k............. i've checked x-metal and roes' websites
and they don't have anything under a grand... wtf seriously can someone tell
me why it costs so much for some bent pipe?

To build good headers they have to be mandrel bent by hand, and a typical mandrel bender is tons of cash...from what I have heard a low end one is $25k plus... a mid way one is $30k+, typically they cost over $50k.

Plus they have to then assemble and weld them by hand.

A good set of headers like the ones on my sand car, were $3600.00, they took over 25 hours to make!!
