I am in the middle of changing my company logo.

I do construction management and I thought someone here might have some ideas.

Long story short, my present company is called Nexgen Management. My new company is Nexgen Construction Management.

Here is the existing logo.

I may be splitting with my partners very soon and need a new look since they will prob keep the present logo.

I know we have some very talented people on this forum and I need a little help with some ideas.

So it needs to be different from the existing but different enough that the two wont be confused.

Feel free to use all the artistic freedom you want.

What type of construction do you manage? Residential or Commercial? Do you want the logo to portray your company as an actual construction company or as a managing company? Neither? Both? Of just want a logo, similar to that of microsoft or dodge etc. . .

Thast a start. Colors need to be more blues and greys. But its a good place to start from. Thanks bro... Something to build on..

My work is commerical and industrial. No residential at all. Mostly municipality work like schools, librarys, firehouses, parks, etc...

Has to be something I can put on letterhead as well.

Glad its a good starting point/base point for ya. I can work on it some today, and I'll have some time this weekend to mess with it.

I can leave the "NEXGEN" and that square behind it, make it look like a city scape or a bar graph or something. I had planned on the base of the logo to have "construction management" along it. At the bottom. I didn't get that far.

Can you put some dark blues, grays, and silver into it now? Maybe rotate a bit more so the buildings are more behind the name. Add some depth maybe.
