Great Truck Compliment

My point to this post is two fold. Number one the kid really made me proud to be an owner of an SRT-10. Two, no one is probably ever going to come up to somebody with a Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, etc. and have a conversation like that. He may not ever get close to an SRT-10 again to actually look at it like he did tonight. To me, I think that is pretty damn cool...

I know how you feel. The last car I had that gave me compliments like that was my 1970 Torino GT with a 429CJ w/ a shaker hood, 4speed in competition yellow! Damn, I miss that car. :(

Time to add "Ambassador" to your sig.

Nice...classy too. I can't stand it when people think they're better than someone else just 'cause of the car they drive. I usually reserved my soundest azz kickin's in my S55 AMG for the real stuck up (think Porsche, M3, etc.) types. No sh!t that most people never even see one on the road...I did only once that I remember prior to buying mine.

All you need to do know is delete the cats, add a magnaflow system, a Roe supercharger and everyone in a 2 mile radius will stop what they are doing to stare at you while you drive by. I went to a gas station the other day and 3 young guys working there starting fighting on who got to fill up the truck. The one that won the battle came up to me and said nice "f"in truck. He then told me that his dad would shit his pants if he ever saw one. After I left I was pissed at myself that I never offered for him to check the oil. Or was even surprised that he never asked to. I think if he saw the Viper with a supercharger on top he prolly would have shit his pants. Makes a guy feel good and makes working hard for this kinda stuff worth it.;)

It's amazing the impact these things have on people. It is a privilege to own such a beast.

Glad to see everyone has similar cool experiences with these trucks. It's not a Porsche but there is definitely no substitute.

I've had that happen a few times with the truck and a bunch with my 68 Camaro SS people always wanted to know about that car.
