So I came home on leave to KS for some graduations. I was heading to the gym to workout and some douchebag truck driver clips my bed right behind the driver door and sends me flying into 6-ft ditch. When I got out, he was like "Oh man, I didn't even see you there." I about lost my damn mind! I'm in a bright red truck not a little Kia. Cop said he'll be listed as most at fault which was nice to hear. The frame didn't look like it bent or anything. I couldn't start it because, somehow, my clutch hydraulics blew or something. The pedal was just flopping. When we got it up on the flatbed, the undercarriage didn't look like it took any damage. Didn't even dent my exhaust pipes. I'm praying the engine is ok so they don't total it out. Biggest surpised was the airbag didn't deploy. I nose-dived into the far side of the ditch at about 35mph I think. I'm totally fine, except for the fact that I had just downed my energy drink and then my adrenaline spiked. My whole body is still shaking ha ha. Oh, and I JUST got my new oil lines from Stinker in the mail as I'm writing this.

Sorry man! I know your truck was looking sweet! Good luck on a speedy truck recovery. Glad you weren't hurt. You can fix trucks.

Damn man, sorry to hear this. I really hope they don't total it with what you have in the motor:( Glad you're OK

Yeah, thank goodness the oil lines are ok! That was the first thing that ran through my mind:p.
If they can fix it, at least I'll be getting a new bumper (old one had scuffs on the bottom) and a brand new paint job. Think I should stick with the red and black stripes or go with something different? I'm thinking that if it's not totalled, this could be a blessing in disguise.
Is there a way you can get the other insurance company to re-imburse you for loss of value? A repaired vehicle can lose a chunk of resale value, plus this is a fairly rare one on top of that.
