Hey guys,

The last couple of days they have been shooting a new movie in the little town I live in. Last night as I was going home I caught a glimpse of some of the crew, and some of the props. I took a couple shots of one of the cars they have been using. It was almost dark, and they had already loaded it on the trailer and were fixing to pull out, so excuse the poor quality. Maybe you will get the idea though. Thought you might like to see.


Stinker, this is right in your wheel-house!

By the way, I "think" the movie is titled Get Low, starring Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek, and Roger Duvall.

The car was definitely a movie car as the body looked like it had filler all over it, and a very rough paint job. The hood scoop, exhaust and paint were the only real mods I could see. On the back of the trailer was a bona-fide ricer! I just did not take a photo of it.

Not sure if you have the right movie.... "Get Low" is based on a guy from the early 1900's and based in Tenn. (although it is filming in GA as well)....

What town are they shooting in? .... I'll find out what it is.

They were just below Mansfield GA yesterday. The reason I think this is the movie is that Bill Murray made a couple of appearances over the weekend in town. He showed up at at a wedding, and I heard a funeral! How wild is that?

The movie is about a guy that planned his own funeral and had it before he actually died.... That could be why he was at a funeral. :dontknow:
