Grille - Gunmetal? Copper? Stainless?

so I'm a big fan of this grille:

and I've made essentially the same thing in the past for my xterra (my last vehicle)

anyway I've got some more stainless mesh and I'm getting ready to make this same grille again and I can either try to polish it to a semi-shiny appearance, I could paint it gunmetal to match the (soon to be gunmetal) wheels, or I can actually trade it back to the supplier for the same wire mesh in copper and do it in copper. no one has the copper, but would it look good with the wheels, or even look good at all? I don't think I've ever seen a copper grille on a vehicle before...
 
I think copper would look real cool. I don't know how it would go with the gunmetal wheels though. And copper does tarnish, there is that to think about. But those grills are just gorgeous.
 
the copper would have to be clearcoated or polished all the darn time. i guess if I did copper I'd have to do the wheels black. ooh, it would look sweet tho if I painted the calipers with that paint that brembo uses on 350z and g35 calipers if I had the copper grille...

i like that look on the black truck. i would like to do mine, where can i buy the grille set up? thanks........fast fred
