can one of you post a picture of the mounting of the top of the grille to the hood?

the mounting for the top part of the grille isn't anything like that at all

im confused - dont you just line up the holes and put screws in ?

i didnt remove the metal frame form the hood - so im not sure

at the top of the stock grille are the clips that have the staff and then you put the nut on the other side to hold it to the hood. As you can see in the pics, its just a hole.


you have to take the frame off to put on the new grille. The frame isn't my problem

so you need some threaded fasteners ?

those clips wont work though,

you just need something on the other end of the grill to catch the bolt

like a threaded clip or a threaded pice

go to a automotive paint store they usually have all kind of fasteners and if they dont have what u need they will point you in the right direction
