You hit the nail on the head. I wouldn't race somewhere that there was a chance of my killing someone.
Operator error, obviously. Kinda like the way that GT500 driver was shifting

ZL1 was unimpressive, looks like it didn't take the Shelby a whole lot of effort to catch up.
I believe that Shelby is a 2012 or older, so it doesn't have 662hp, only about 550. I have challenged Adrian to bring his friend and the Shelby to Famoso to run my CTS V, so far they have been a no show. I can guarantee that Shelby will see CTS V Taillights all the way down the 1/4 mile....I would probably beat him by 1 or 2 seconds...looks like a low 13 second Shelby to me. I know I shift a little faster than the Shelby driver (well, really a lot faster)....he's smart to not show up. And I agree with most on here....racing on the freeway is just plain stupid...you guys are Idiots.
I ran a new ZL1 the other night at Famoso, he had Drag Radials, 6-speed manual...maybe a few mods like tune and CAI, but not sure....he ran 12.30 @ 113 mph.....and I beat him by 14 mph(and about 15 lengths)....my ET is classified.:burnout:

Depending on the 60' I'll bet he is around there most likely faster.
I want one, doesn't even have to be that fast. The sound is amazing!

Its not that i dont want to show up its not MY car i cant just go and get it and go to famoso to run you... If you think this shelby is a 13 second car keep guessing lol

It's not going to go much better than low 12's with that guy driving. I've seen 18 wheels shift quicker. Jajaja

Post just 1 time slip...............waiting.......and I'm still not worried....have him come and beat my CTS V.....legally.:rock: I have a friend who had a 700+ rwhp Camaro, running 12.70's with him driving. Have your friend show up, it will be fun, bring your excellent video camera and skills....so everyone on this forum can laugh at old grampa and his Cadillac. Oh, and when I drove the Camaro...............10.74@135, just sayin.
