Anyone have experience with one of these? It seems like an inexpensive way to have a lot of fun.

Seems like an inexpensive way to get yourself a ticket 
i have one that came with my no2 kit,, its kinda neat looks cool on the dash.. suposto be accurate to .1 sec when doing 0-60 and 1/4 but ive never learned how to set it up and use it.. so it just flashes numbers and shit when im driving lol..its on the g load setting so i can see how hard im cornering.. but thats all i use it for so far

Last time we talked about these we determined they are not compatible with the V-10 engine. Will not work.
hmm i have the Autometer D-Pic meter and it works like a charm,, not sure about gtech thought...
The G-tech cannot pickup the ignition signal from my SRT-10 truck with good wires on it. Works fine with my truck (iron) V-10 though.

I am only interested in the acceleration measuring piece of the puzzle. Are you are saying it won't work with the V10?
Are you still able to measure 0-60 and 1/4 times?
To be fair, I didn't try. After it couldn't measure HP and Torque, I gave it to my dad for his Bonneville VW.

On some cars RPMs don't work and we have never hidden this fact. The problem is that manufacturers are continuously lowering the ignition noise on the cigarette lighter and making it more difficult for the G-TECH to obtain RPM signal. When this circuitry was developed your car wasn't even out yet. So it's impossible for us to know if it would work on it or not. We have spend unrecoverable amounts of R&D money in the development of this system and tested hundreds of cars but still there is simply infinite amount of ignition/noise filter combinations.
So my suggestion to you is to either return the unit for refund or go to Radio Shack and get a female cigarette lighter adapter hook it up directly to the battery (without doing any wiring installation) and just try it. If it works than you can wire it up.
By the way, all other measurements like 0-60mph, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile, Horsepower still work. If you don't get the RPM the only thing you're missing is Torque. Thanks for your support."

Just took the DPIC for a spin, did a hp test and aparently im running a solid 311rwhp. so maybe its not so accurate for some things...
what do you want to know - i have been using G-Tech for years, and currently run the G-tech EGS with OBDII on my truck now.
with the OBDII adp there is NO RPM Calibration - the egs read everything from your PCM
EVERYTHING your PCM log's / reads the egs will display
- if you DO NOT have a OBDII adp you will not be able to use this on a Viper V-10 engine -

yep me too, the D-PIC gauge work just fine
Correct - and you will not be able to HARD WIRE it either, but with an OBDII adp - it will work fine
Great feedback. Thanks. Is the OBDII Adapter physically in the way?
Dont waste your money IMO.

They are only as accurate as the road you are testing on is flat/level and straight. FYI They are pretty close but take anything from one of these as a ballpark, not hard and fast truth. If you run a 12.5 second quarter mile at the drag strip and the G-tech says 12.6 or 12.4, well I'd feel like I could pretty much do before and after measurements with it to verify if a mod was worth it! But would have to baseline it against a known measurement to trust it more completely . The one's I've seen and used in the past seems pretty accurate if you did find a nice level/flat straight road. Good luck
