4-5 hrs is gonna leave you with about 9-10 hrs to drive on Friday..You
mentioned PA tpk..I am assuming you are going 78-76-70-etc? I would go rt 80 from NYC across PA..Thatd put you about half way across PA in 4-5 hrs..somewhere around the State College area, I would guess. If you go Rt 78, that would put you somewhere short of Harrisburg in 4-5 hrs depending on traffic.

Shortest route from NYC ( per mapquest) is across PA Tpk . Not I 80 . No actually i would wind up in Bedford PA 1/2 way between Harrisbgr and PiTTS.You must be In Scranton?

Steve, dunno if I am going to be able to make this one. I am going to OC maryland the w/e before and the budget will be alittle tight for the trip to Boomers. Also, if I do go, I could leave late thursday and meet up with on Friday somewhere depending on which way you go.

No Im in Bx. I 80 originates @ the GWBridge and I 78 originates about ten miles south of there. I 78 route brings you more south right into S PA, OH
where 80 is more N brings you to Chitown. The jury is still out on this one anyway . It is alot of road to eat. When I was small boy I used to drive w my dad in his semi- truck out this way. Might bring back some memories.:idea:
