Fellas I know that most of you on here know a lot about guns. I am interested in buying a Kimber 1911 SIS edition. I am willing to pay 1100.00 if anyone has some sort of contacts or knows someone who knows someon in a alley. Let me know.

I have a SIS Pro (4.5in barrel). It's been a great gun! I've probably got 1200 rounds through it. I'd sell it to you for $1000 plus shipping (to your favorite FFL dealer ;) ). :dontknow: It's got some 'idiot" marks on it from cleaning  but it shoots great. I also have a Blackhawk CERPA outside-waistband holster and a Crossbreed IWB holster. I'll include both with the sale (probably $150 value... there is a 3 month waiting list at Crossbreed Holsters).

Here's a few pictures:

Jake I just might have to take that off your hands. that is the same damn one I want. So what paperwork needs to happen. I will be sending it to Silver Eagle Group. I am a first timer here. That is a beautiful gun.

As near as I can tell, You send Jake the money. He takes the gun to a FFL unless your FFL says he will accept a direct shipment. Anyhow once it gets into your FFL's hands you finish up the paper work and wait the cooloff period. Then it's yours. The FFL's will want a transfer fee and you may need a pistol permit. If so that can be picked up at the local sheriffs office. Your mileage may vary, batteries not included.

Jake,

I called Silver Eagle Group they said that since you are not a dealer, that you can sell it to me straight, however they advised me that I might want to contact the local sherriff to see what is need to do a transfer over to me.
