Guys I need some info on the automatic tranny!!!!

The clunk is the gears in the diff.

The shifting sounds good, you need it to get into and out of gear as soon as possible. If not BIG problems.

Don't worry she sounds tight!
 
Thanks again guys....I got a warranty now so I'm straight...I'll just tear that mofo up til something gives!!!

Got the truck at carmax (actually outsourced the work to a tranny shop)..just got the call regarding the tranny=result is they found a leak in the oil pan gasket..new seal and full service with filters should cure my concern I was having with the truck....unless they find more when they open up the oil pan to replace the seal????:dontknow:
 
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR TRUCK...............

Be glad! That is how they are supposed to shift and the clunk is the gearset. Buy a GM conversion solenoid kit from patc and never deal with the bad solenoid problem.

Get them to adjust the bands while the pan is off.
