hi guys, long time ago.... now just wondering , i bought a Guzzi , is that brand knowd in the US ? After 10 years Harley ( Fat boy ) i wanted something different , something more "handling" but also 2 cilinders and visible cooling fins ! As 8 from 10 drive here BMW's i wanted to be more unusual :dontknow: and choose for his Italian brother :elefant: anybody ?
Nice bike Wafflehead  , guzzi's are pretty common here, looks like you are having a mid life crisis :and Barry where and how is the Yettie's boat:dontknow:
Glad to see you have returned Belgiumbarry....Was wondering what happened to you....My brother owned and may still own a Moto Guzzi ..I just personally don't know anything about them .but they have been in the states for years..
Moto-Goot-see is a fabled name for some riders out there. Looks awesome to me, Norbert. If I ever get another bike it'll be a fully restored late 60's Bonneville. Your Guzzi is a real beauty...... Watch out for homocidal maniacs on the road. D
hi wifey, yes i have a mid life crisis .... for the second time one in my 40's ...now in my 50's...o my god, what will it be in my 60's.....:dontknow: remember the story of the "affaire" i had , well after a year of doubts and guilt feelings all ended now.... i've choosen for her as she just kept haunting my dreams life is great again and i only can hope my wife also find somebody who cares more about her( in fact she deserves it ) , i helped her financial so she can start all over without at least those problems....he we are .... now Yettie's boat .... coincidense , tomorrow we have a appointment with a shipyard who i asked if they can finish the boat.....my "new" girl also likes sailing ( they had a sailingboat , her husband left her some 6 years ago ) so now i had a big problem : we hope to see that boat in the water but i wanted "quality" time with her instead of working all evenings on the boat.... so i give up my pride as a "self made" yacht and hope they finish it ....them quality is sure more then i was doing, so the only problem is $$$$$ and yes, i'm enjoying now the "house" life....she's one lovely thing  As i recall , with the boat and cars, my (ex)wife didn't see me on evenings for the last 3 years..... greetz to chainshaw Jerry and a big kiss for you :handkiss: ps how's the affaire with Prof :dontknow:
after i wrote that...i wondered if it was too vague... Dual Sport...on/off road...whatever you kids call them over there it looks kinda like a cross between a BMW 1200 GS and a Ducati Hypermotard....
Great bike Barry! The Guzzi's always had a loyal following, and some minor quirks to go along. The only problem I ever heard was the shift linkage , but supposedly was corrected, years ago. That bike will run forever, (with style,) like a John Deere tractor. (especially with the shaft drive). PS you make a lovely couple.
no , it's not a off road version .... don't forget we are together far beyond 100 years old.... PS Guzzi has the offroad version : it's the Stelvio.
Our Brother owned two Guzzi's. A California and an older Le Mans from the De Tomaso years (not sure of the exact year). He loved 'em and I REALLY loved that Le Mans. Would've bought it from him if my money wasn't gettin' tied up in my Road King...That Guzzi sound...i'sa passion < lame Italian accent...Those suckers will run FOREVER and you can fix damn near anything on 'em with a little bailing wire and duct tape! You WON'T regret that purchase.
