H.I.D ?

One of my headlights went out this morning and this is the first vehicle i've owned with H.I.D's and was wondering if anyone could give me tips on troubleshooting to see if it is the actual H.I.D. unit or if it's just the headlight bulb. Thanks for the help guys!

swap bulbs. dont touch the actual glass bulb, wear latex gloves

In the book it says you need a 9007QL, but no auto part stores have that. Where do yall get your bulbs from?
