Had a tough day today.

Well the wife and I had to make a tough desision today.
About 3 years ago our dog lennox was diagnosed with cancer. They removed the tummer and gave him 6 months to live.

He did very well until about 1 year ago, when started having trouble breathing again. The last couple of months have been kind of rough on him and us with some days where he didn't even want to eat, and that's not like him at all!!!
Last nite as soon as I drover back to work, the wife called in tears, so back to the house I went. After a long nite we had to make the decision to let him go. I just got finished burying him.

So after 9 years of loyalty, rest in peace ole boy, you are already missed!!!

I think everybody here can relate to the loss of a pet. I've lost 3, and I was close to every single one of them. You dont think that an animal can provide that much much companionship. Like the saying goes, you dont know what you've got until its gone. Sorry bro

Bro. the best thing to do is tell her the truth,he was suffering and now he is in a better place,thats what we told our 6 year old,she accepted that.We had our dog creamated,and once a week my dauhter will get her down and tell her she loves her and misses her.
