So here I am getting onto the freeway with this Audi behind. I could tell he was a spirited driver. So when we got onto the freeway we both kinda took off. Nothing extreme. Both probably trying to get clear of traffic. So the traffic clears up in front of us and we both looked at each other and shook heads. It was on. I started to pull him a little. Maybe a half a car. Then it seemed like he would make it up then I would pull a little more. Then we shut it down due to speeds. We just looked at each other and he through up his arm like who knows who won that. It was that close. I was surpized at first that I did not leave him. I though he had some little 6 banger. But he was driving a Audi RS4. 420 hp V8. Could not find any mph specs on it. But non the less it was fun and interesting.

those audi's are quick & light weight and can get you if you let it. You have QC too, damn, that is good shit

Yes I had a Big body AUdi try me in my GTO, that bastard almost got me too. But it is good to see that some ppl are using there cars for something other than trans. Especially when the drivers look at each other and with out saying a word, shake their heads and they know, that feeling is like priceless well gas is not thought that is the only draw back

Okay, I think I have it now. An Audi that was probably made in Hungary but maybe Germany could not keep up with the Mexican truck sold by a German company and another one lost to an Australian-built GTO......... or was that an older GTO and actually American? Yeah, I know...... I AM an old fart. Why I remember what GTO actually stands for. All of this crap made me not renew my magazine subscriptions. Being a laid-off American autoworker, I am tired of it and will entertain no justification. But I sure do remember street racing in the 60s and early 70s. We would get into literally dozens of races per night. Sure beat homework. I had the 3rd best gpa in my h.s. after 11 grades and almost flunked out my senior year after discovering street racing (and beer, golf and women - in that order!).
