What type of welder should I buy to have in my garage for general purpose work by an aging half witted hot rodder...any other guidance? Some one said to go the the local community college and take a course...what do you think?

Hey Prof,

I am not even close to be considered a welder but I would suggest taking advantage of your local college and take a intro course on welding. You wil have a lot better idea where you want to go from there.

yea welding is super easy if you take a class, if you "trial and error" it, you will end up with splatter and holes ;-) and lots of wasted material lol
