The roads were dry and I havent driven her in months due to the snow so I took her out for a quick spin. I will have to wash some salt on the rear and front quarter panels but damn this thing loves the cold air. Felt great to run her again. Hurry up Spring!

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but the roads here in NJ are still too F'ed up to take her out of the garage...

Remember I just bought her before I moved back to NY so I am a little more impatient having only put a couple hundred miles on her so far

One thing I can say about NY is the truck LOVES the cold air, didnt think I was jumping on it but damn if it didnt want to spin tires all the way down the street
It was worth a cold wash :)

I thought about it myself but everything is melting today in this 50 degree heat wave causing all the crap piled up on the burm to wash out into the road and that stuff is a combo of salt, dirt and god knows what else...Im holdin out brother, my truck is just too damn clean sittin in the garage:D

I was thinkin of taking mine out for dinner tonite, but as with a lot of us the roads are just white with salt. I have driven it just over 40 miles since I bought it just before Christmas...cant wait till this crap gets washed off the roads so i can take it and the cuda out again.

Drove mine to school one day this week...got some salt splash on her, but that was cleaned off that night...now warmer temps have everything soaked...so another 6 to 8 weeks before she rolls again.

Once you've been salted, you're never a virgin again....

:burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

So it should be a daily driver now? Hmmmm...then maybe I could get a Viper for my weekend ride...

:) With the Obama stimulus package, perhaps you can get a Viper for $15K off of the already discounted price. :p :p

Ok.. so MY truck is still a virgin, but hey, I'm probably missing out on the "cold air" HP fun. I just like seeing the factory decals on the frame completely umblemished after 2 1/2 years. You know.. that will make my truck worth at least another $50 or $100 when I decide to sell.

Truthfully, I have been in the new car market, but now that there is a tax credit possibility I will wait to see just what it is...we should know on Tuesday.

Yes you should try the cold air fun, besides did you really enjoy being a virgin :)

1. take off skirt
2. Drive truck in snow
3. wash truck
4. do this again every day!
