I was heading home from my trip to Mexico last night, my mind some what of a blurr recapping the events of another wonderful evening with my girl when I saw four HID lights weaving in and out of traffic and then beaming down on my rear bumper. I swapped lanes, letting the anxious driver have a gaze of the beautiful lines.
Glancing over briefly, I noticed it was a SRT-8 Jeep Grand Cherokee. To my amazement, he wouldn't pass...then, for some reason, nervousness hit me like a virgin lad on his first day of college...:dancing: Needless to say I accepted the challenge....50mph slapped it down to second and took off...:burnout: I stayed out on him one length, slapped it to third and another length was mine for the taking. I decided to see if the upper end of the speedo would yield different results. When I saw the road was still clear and flat as a moonlit night in Phoenix, I slapped her into fourth and tossed the tow straps out the window and drug him one more length 'til about 125...:star:
I slowed down to give him a thumbs up on a nice run and beautiful SUV, but he took the Tijuana highway without slowing down for the exit......:dontknow:
After the excitement, I just had to drop the top on the ole' SL500 and cruise home with a smile on my face.....
...pulling the straps back in for the next time someone may need them....
**On a side note...this tiptronic transmission is really smooth, even when manually shifted......**:marchmellow:
