Had to try this ... No Wipers ....

Saw a thread awhile ago about pulling off the wipers and how cleaned it looked.

So I had to try it :D .... Took about 6 seconds each wiper, then Some Mothers Back to Black on the plastic. A couple 1" Rubber nipples (easy now) to cover the aluminum piece where the wipers located and ..... YEP it sure cleans it up. Put the wipers behind the seat In Case ;) . So thought I'd get a couple opinions on that. I swapped out the Billet hood grille for the stock black one to see the diff. Think I like the billet one better, what ya think?

Before Wipers and Grille ....

Thanks for any feedback, always wanted to try the wiper thing ..... :D

Jim

damn that hood looks tall;)

I'd say it looks really good but it's definitely not an option in South Florida.

Looks awesome but don't try it if you live in Illinois. It immediately renders your vehicle illegal for public motorways and they will impound it until you have them repaired by a Dodge qualified mechanic. It gets ugly. Found out the hard way on my old Cuda.

Not here....lol.....anyone that lives down here can tell you, it could be blue skies for miles and 10 min later it starts thunder storming....in summer no matter what it looks like everyday around 12-3 pm it may start raining just from the heat and humidity..one thing I hate about it here is the extreme muggy heat

Well up here we get the random June, July, August snow storm. How does RainX deal with a foot of snow?

Take mine off, each time i go to the track or show. Rain'X is worth it. Also getting rid of that antenna makes a big difference too.

Damn! I was going to do it...but that scared me off!

Piece a cake Eli .... Must tilt wiper up to unload spring, then there's a keeper under blade arm where it goes onto mounting shaft, move it out effortlessly, then rock arm up and out. Clean it and go ..... Quick to go back on as well.

now you gotta get rid of them in your avatar:D

The kind of muggy heat that makes your balls stick to the side of your leg? I hate that shit too.

WTF...You got to be kidding me. What a bunch of Nazi's. Never mind the crack houses and gangs, let's go after those evil guys without windshield wipers. You are a menace to society.

The wiperless does look cool. I might do that to mine. I ran with Rain-X only on my little beater car for over a year because the wiper motor was toast. That stuff works great. The only time is doesn't work well is from salt spray in the winter. However, who drives their SRT-10 on salt covered winter roads?

An endorsement from a vehicle expert! I will pass the comment to my Rain-X making wife!

Thanks Muzzy.

I may just take the chance ...maybe if I carry the wipers in the truck, the irate officer would let me put them back on myself!!!
