Happening in PHOENIX

1) Pavilions at Scottsdale Sat. the 21st is MOPAR Night. The Mopar club that we usually park with at the Cruise on Central will be there & so will I.
2) Of course we have the Tortilla Flat run on Sunday the 22nd. If anyone
has any questions let me know.
3) October 2nd thru Nov. 13th is Hot Rod Night at Westgate. It is sponsored by Nancy Perry who does the 67th/Bell GTG & the Cruise on Central. I will be going on the 1st weekend to check it out. If it's any good may go again.
4) The best for last. Cruise on Central will be Oct. 12th, from 1:00 to 8:00. I met two of the Mopar club members last night & will be having breakfast with them this coming Friday. Trying to see if we can park with them this year, as we have done in the past. The Cruise on Central is the big GTG of the year. I will let you guys know more about parking when we meet at Tortilla Flat.
Hopefully, you guys can make at least one of these, if not all.

So far haven't heard from anyone from the other forums about joining us at Tortilla Flat. Anyone else going to make it to the Pavilions on Saturday or are you saving it for Sunday? If you can make it I will be parking with the other MOPARS.

Now that we have stuck a fork in Tortilla Flat, so to speak, it's time to look at the BIG event of the year, Cruise On Central. It is on the second Saturday of October, the 12th. If you haven't been there before the car show part is in the parking lot of Park Central Shopping Center. The cruising is on Central from McDowell south to Camelback north. We will do a head count after the 1st. Hope everyone can make it.

Met with 6 of the guys from the LX Forum for lunch today. They said no one is in charge of the parking for the Cruise on Central. So we will wait until that happens, then volunteer to help, getting us parking places.
