I am having a difficult time getting the truck into reverse.Sometimes it even jumps out if I don't really shift it into reverse with some force. Also hear a grinding noise when going to 6th.Everything else is fine.I have the Gen4 shifter (set to highest adjustment),Mobil 1 ATF fluid, centerforce clutch,Viper master and slave, fidanza flywheel (going back to stock flywheel on Friday).

Anyone else having this problem ? Any ideas to fix it ?

I also have the same problem. I try and park in a position so that I dont have to go in reverse. Ive got some Motul600 on the way and some Redline ATF. Im going to swap out the fluid, will let you know how I make out.

To get it in reverse, I usually put it in first ease the clutch out to pull forward a little. Then I slam it into reverse with all my might and that gets me in reverse 50% of the times lol.

well guys i had the same problem in december and i got a new tranny out of it under warranty.

but the problem wasnt my tranny and they didnt figure it out until they pulled the original tranny. i still got the new due to the service writer being a friend for over 12 years.

the problem was actually the shifter lever bolts being loose. with it being loose it wasnt allowing it it to fully engage. it kept throwing it out of reverse and 6th was a chore.

hope this helps

I had the same problem whit mine ..When i took a look on it i was the four bolts that bolts the shifter to the transmission..:) ..Anyway i have changde it to a B&M shifter now and i works like a charm...:)

Stefan...

My shifter is tight. With the mods I am pretty sure the warranty is out.I'll look at it Friday or Saturday when we change out the flywheel.
