HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS HAPPEN?

OK, so I came back from Knoxville thursday and my truck was parked for four days... so when i started it up, let it warm up,back out of my driveway to back up there, went about 200 feet and the surpinteen belt snaps!!!!:dontknow:....... so i backed up openup the hood and my crank pully is maybe an half inch out!!!!
so i took it to a shop that was close,put it up on the rack and the bolt that holds the crank on was so loose that you could spin it on and off with ur hand!!
so I torqed it back down and put the belt back on, drove about 190 miles, so far everything has been working OK :dontknow:

That was a problem on some of the early 04's, have not heard of it happening on 05's and 06's. Is your truck an 06???

yes many of us had that happen in 04 anyway that was a huge issue.. mine came right off... woohooo ..

yep there was a TSB out on this same issue

It also affected some early 05's.

be a good time for rods and pistons if it screwed up the crank
